(AKA “Make a Blanket Day”)
Saturday, February 19
9a.m.-Noon in the Great Hall
It’s time to dust off your blanket-making skills and get ready for this year’s Make a Blanket Day, coordinated by our Project Linus ministry! Due to the rising COVID numbers, the organization has revised this year’s project to make it a drop-off event, rather than a making event.
All donated blankets will go to local area hospitals that serve children.
This is a great service project for families, even if you don’t have any sewing or knitting skills. Just do a Google search for “How to make a no-sew fleece blanket” for step-by-step instructions and videos, or check out this link. You can also buy some great fleece blanket kits at Joann's Fabric.
