Heather Allen, Assistant Director
Heather is thrilled to be a part of the St. Katharine Drexel team! She was born and raised in Northern California where she graduated with a degree in Child Development from San Jose State University. She has been teaching in the Pre-K setting for since 2010. Her and her husband, along with their two beautiful daughters, live in Castle Pines and are members of Pax Christi. Both of her daughters were baptized at Pax Christi, and she was blessed to be baptized here as well in 2014. Her family enjoys skiing in Winter Park, hiking, playing games and watching movies together. They are also faithfully loved by our dog, Tucker. Her goal is to help our children grow emotionally, socially and academically and knows that you are the primary educator in the development of your child where she is grateful to be a part of his/her growth. She thanks you for sharing the challenges and joys of that process with me. It is a privilege.

After switching her major to work in the medical field, she worked at Sharp Mary Birch Hospital for women and newborns for about 4 years in the NICU, then Sharp Memorial Hospital in the OR and Short Stay OBS. Melanie Jones, Assistant Teacher
We are excited to welcome Melanie Jones to our preschool staff this year as an Assistant Teacher. A Colorado native and growing up in a large Catholic family, Melanie had a solid Catholic education which has been one of the many blessings in her life. She has felt called to be a caregiver for most of her professional years (especially involving children), and has nearly a decade in experience. Children are a gift from God and are to be led toward the good, the true, and the beautiful, which is a view that Melanie holds near and dear to her heart.
Melanie loves spending time with her husband, hosting events, traveling, reading mysteries, and learning new ways of organizing and arranging her apartment. Please help us make Melanie feel welcome!
