We live in a self-centered culture that all too often leaves us feeling empty and dissatisfied. A fuller view of God and His glory is the perfect antidote, which you will experience in Beholding Your King.

We’ll study King David, select Psalms, the temple, and many Old Testament prophets and see the ways in which they all point to the coming King of Kings, Jesus Christ. This Bible study is the second part of a two-part series and is ideally completed after Beholding His Glory.

    What we’ll discuss:
    • Prophecies about Jesus in the Old Testament, and their effect on people past and present
    • Psalm 23, the most familiar of all the psalms, which has comforted people throughout the centuries
    • God’s steady purpose in both the Old and New Covenants, and the promises He kept to all of us

  • Women's Workshop

    January 26th | 6-8pm | Youth Rm

What is God’s purpose for you and are you living that purpose to your full capacity? During this 2-hour women-only workshop you will become inspired and empowered to make changes in your personal or professional life toward a more committed approach to living a christian life. In this workshop you will create a gratitude practice, set goals, discuss habits, and develop a mindset to lead you down a path to help you live a more fulfilled life through God’s will for you.

We cannot live the Christian life on our own! We constantly battle sin, temptation, concupiscence, the influence of the world, the enemy, and our desire to become holy through our own efforts. Our efforts are absolutely necessary, but they cannot bear spiritual fruit without the grace (help) of the Holy Spirit.

Through this study, participants will encounter the Holy Spirit — that he would enflame their hearts with God’s love, leading to a greater experience of his gifts and fruits and that they would become more docile to the Holy Spirit, submitting their wills to his prompting and leading.

Scripture and the Tradition of the Catholic Church provide an abundance of wisdom, though it can often be challenging to apply it to our lives. In this eight-part study, Jeff Cavins and Thomas Smith examine biblical wisdom as it relates to daily life. Drawing on the wisdom literature of the Bible—Proverbs, Wisdom, Sirach, and Ecclesiastes—Wisdom: God’s Vision for Life will teach you how to actively seek sound guidance and increase your sense of peace in navigating life. In everything from friendships to finances, from making decisions to attaining peace of mind, Scripture offers a vision for happiness and well-being. With this program, you will learn how to gather, gain, and grow in wisdom, and you will experience the joy it brings to your life. For more information contact Rachel Daugherty.
