This ministry brings hope, comfort and solace to a needy recipient in the form of a tangible prayer – a handmade shawl. Each Tuesday afternoon, crafters knit/crochet shawls, devote a prayer to the future recipient and enjoy each other’s company. The blessed prayer shawl will physically wrap a recipient, reminding him/her of God’s loving and healing embrace. Yarn, patterns and tools are provided or bring your own. Come as often as you want; you are most welcome!
