Alpha is an 11-week course of food, video talks, and conversations. It’s a chance to grow deeper in relationship with friends and family while also introducing them to Jesus.

You can literally invite anyone —whether they are “churched” or “un-churched,” everyone can get something out of Alpha. That being said, this is our opportunity to participate in evangelization and introducing people to Jesus, so invitations to people who might be seeking for something more or who are on the fence about whether or not God even exists would be great. Other invitees might include friends or family members who have left the Church, or those you would just like to spend more time with learning more about their thoughts and feelings.
Do you have friends or family members who grew up in the Church but have since left? What about that friend who always seems to be looking for something new and is searching for answers? Do you have a buddy who suffers from worry and anxiety over things they can’t change? Do you know someone who’s new to the area and is looking for community? Or even people who have never been to church in their life. Reach out to those people and invite them to join you at an Alpha session.

Important points for your message:
Alpha sessions will be safe and judgment-free. Everyone is welcome to come, even if they don’t go to church. There will not be any pressure to participate, OR join the church when the sessions are over. It’s truly just an opportunity to connect with other like-minded individuals and have some great conversations together. And did we mention there’s free food?
