Great Hall
Deacon Garrett will present a summer series on the Parables of Jesus Christ. The purpose of the parables were to confound those whose intellectualism prevented them from understanding the simple truth of the Gospel. An important part of Jesus’ teaching was identifying with the simple agrarian lifestyle of his listeners. The parables are found in the Gospels of Matthew, Mark and Luke. The parables present a wide range of religious and moral thinking for today’s Catholic Christian.
