Mission of Ministry: To provide opportunities for fun, service and companionship for parishioners ages 50+.
Description: This active group plans regular activities for community building and friendship, in the context of the Catholic faith tradition. This is a great group to join if you are new to our parish.

Mission of Ministry: To promote community involvement and continue the tradition of the Knights of Columbus.
Description: One of the Knights’ main objectives is to aid mentally disabled groups in our community. On a parish level, this very active group facilitates service projects as well as activities such as the summer Beer & Brats parties, and monthly breakfasts that provide parishioners opportunities for fellowship.
Time Commitment: Varies.
MOMS GROUP
Mission of Ministry: To support the families of Pax Christi with young children.
Description: Our MOMS Group is comprised of mothers with small children. Regular meetings, playgroups, Mom’s night out and many other activities are planned during the year in an effort to meet the needs of Pax Christi families. Our schedule is open to allow for new ideas and activities. Time Commitment: 1st Tuesday of the month (childcare provided). Variable for other activities.
NEWCOMER MINISTRY
Mission of Ministry: To provide opportunities for community building by greeting, inviting and welcoming.
Description: We welcome new members to Pax Christi by conducting Welcome Phone Calls, and visiting with new parishioners at our monthly K of C Breakfasts. Pax Christi is a community where all are welcomed and newcomer members help carry this out.
Time Commitment: Varies: ½ hr to 3 hrs per month.
NURSERY
Mission of Ministry: To provide a fun, caring environment for our young children during Mass.
Description: Our nursery is for up to 16 parishioners age nine months to four years. It is available during the 8:30 and 10:30 a.m. Sunday Masses, except for holidays and for other events as planned.
Time Commitment: We hire and train our sitters who are all over the age of 21 and they work a planned schedule. We are working on developing a program to support our youth by providing training and offering opportunities where they can serve by assistants to our adult babysitters.
SOCIAL EVENTS COMMITTEE
Mission of Ministry: To plan and facilitate community building opportunities for our parish.
Description: This group will use their entertainment planning and creative energies to support the offering of of an active parish social life and varied opportunities for people to gather as church in a spirit of fun. Currently this group plans and runs the annual picnic, October event (theme changes each year) and the annual Fat Saturday/Casino night.
Time Commitment: 1 -2 hour planning meetings - at least 2 per event, may be more depending on size of event. Volunteer time at events varies by event and service being provided.
CATHOLIC COMMITTEE ON SCOUTING
Mission of Ministry: To offer scouts support to grow in their faith through scouting.
Description: To enable scouts to complete various Catholic Scouting Awards and to develop strong moral, spiritual and civic values.
