   FINANCE COMMITTEE

Mission of Ministry: To advise our Pastor in all areas of fiscal responsibility.

Description: to advise our Pastor in the planning and administering of all parish financial matters and the setting of policy and procedure to provide effective management of parish assets, and to prepare the budget.

Time Commitment: Monthly 2 hour meeting.

   OFFICE SUPPORT

Mission of Ministry: To provide office support to our Pax Christi Staff.

Description: While supporting each ministry, the staff often calls upon volunteer help from within our parish. Volunteers will be called as needed. A fun way to meet and socialize with other parishioners!

Time Commitment: Variable as needed, convenient to your schedule.

   PASTORAL PARISH COUNCIL     

Mission of Ministry: To help formulate and work towards achieving the vision of our parish.

Description: Our Council is an advisory body to our Pastor and assists in guiding the ministries of our parish and implementing and monitoring our Parish Pastoral Plan.

Time Commitment: 2 hour monthly meeting.

   GROCERY CARDS  

Mission of Ministry: Parish-wide support to benefit our Building Fund.

Description: Grocery Cards are sold before and after all Sunday Masses in our Great Hall. Pax Christi receives 5% of total sales for our Parish Building Fund.

Time Commitment: Scheduled, before and after one or two masses per month, approximately 1 hour commitment per mass scheduled.

   WEEKLY COLLECTION COUNTERS

Mission of Ministry: To provide assistance in counting the weekend collection.

Description: Scheduled counters gather in our Christi Center on Monday mornings to sort, count and deposit the monies collected from the weekend.

Time Commitment: 2 to 3 hours on scheduled day, typically once a month.

   STEWARDSHIP & DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE

Mission of Ministry: To revitalize the understanding of stewardship within our parish community.

Description: This committee provides the parish community with information regarding the principles and teaching of stewardship consistent with the U.S. Bishop’s Pastoral Letter of Stewardship..

Time Commitment: Monthly 2 hour meeting plus the committee rotates 1 hour commitment to lead a monthly meeting for newcomers after the Knights of Columbus breakfast mornings.

   GROUNDS, GARDENING & MAINTENANCE

Mission of Ministry: To assist in maintaining the grounds and make the Pax Christi worship center campus a welcoming and attractive place to gather.

Description: To help maintain the grounds and facilities, this committee will work with the ministry Coordinator who is currently our Maintenance Supervisor to help determine landscaping projects and needs and support development of project volunteers.

Time Commitment: 1 to 2 hour meetings as scheduled and project specific as determined by committee.

   MONDAY MORNING CHURCH CREW

Mission of Ministry: To keep the liturgy space clean and tidy.

Description: To clean the church each Monday, removing rubbish and replacing envelopes, pamphlets etc in the seats.

Time Commitment: ½- 1 hour each Monday morning after 9 am Mass in the Chapel- no need to sign up just come to the Mass or to the worship space at 10:00 am and let us know you are there to help.
